Introducing the Selma Civil Right Heritage "Speaker Series"

Welcome to the Selma Civil Rights Heritage ~ a Monthly Speaker Series, designed to introduce high school students to the history of the Civil Rights Movement. Our goal is to provide an immersive experience that will help students connect with the material on a deeper level and gain a greater appreciation for the struggle for civil rights. Following this series, we invite them to join us on a *FREE* charter bus ride to Selma, AL, where they will have the opportunity to visit the actual locations where significant events of the Civil Rights Movement occurred. This heritage tour will allow them to see first-hand the places that were integral to the struggle for equality and justice. We hope that this experience will inspire and empower the students to make a positive impact in their own communities.
